ESMA Logistics
is an efficient, reliable and flexible transportation company, having built up a wealth of experience over the past 35 years.
The company forms a vital part of ESMA International’s operations and arranges transportation by air, sea and road.
Communication lines are short. The company is ideally situated close to Schiphol Airport and the ports of both Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
ESMA Logistics can arrange the entire shipment, if desired. That includes:
- Picking up the goods from the supplier;
- Repackaging the goods shipment in accordance with the transportation company’s requirements and assuring reliable, problemfree delivery;
- Arranging other requirements for shipping goods by air, sea and road;
- Arranging the necessary documentation, and
- Maintaining contact with the client’s logistics partner to ensure that the shipment arrives quickly at the right place in the destination country.
A segment of the goods shipment can also be arranged.

Own warehouse
The company has its own warehouse facilities equipped with an overhead traveller crane and a 2.5 tonne forklift truck. Shipments can be repackaged here and prepared for shipment in accordance with the transportation company’s requirements.
'known shipper'
ESMA Logistics is a ‘known shipper’ at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, having direct access to the airport, enabling delivery of the shipment directly to the airline ground handler.
Not only standard shipments
Shipments are not always standard shipments in the industry. ESMA Logistics has arranged transport of a floating dock to Africa and cranes weighing 288 tonnes from Amsterdam to Dubai.
Authorised air cargo shipping agent
ESMA Logistics was recently designated as an authorised air cargo shipping agent by the Dutch Border Police (in Dutch: Koninklijke Marechaussee) and is now included in the Dutch Border Police register.
The advantage is that client shipments don't suffer any delay as a result of security checks. |
